Já foi quase há um mês (mas parece que foi ontem) que o meu sobrinho nasceu (ahhhh sobrinho, ultimamente deixaram de me chamar pelo meu nome e só me chamam tia e até é fofinho). Bem mas como eu dizia, foi um dia inesquecível, principalmente porque pude assistir ao parto (sim, era eu que estava a drogar a minha irmã para ela sentir menos dor possível). O Gabriel quis chegar uns dias antes do previsto mas no dia em que nasceu, depois de falsos alarmes e à terceira ida à maternidade é que ele decidiu que estava na pronto. 

Apesar das dores que as contracções provocavam, foi um momento calmo e de muita felicidade. Nunca tinha assistido a nenhum parto mas acho que o facto de ter sido na água tornou tudo mais fácil e tranquilo. It has been almost a month ago (but it seems like it was yesterday) that my nephew was born (ahhhh nephew, since then people stop call me by my name and just call me Aunt and it is cute). Well but as I was saying, it was an unforgettable day, especially because I could attend the birth (yes, it was me who was drugging my sister for her to feel less pain as possible). Gabriel wanted to get a few days ahead of schedule but the day he was born, after false alarms it was on the third trip to motherhood that he decided he was ready.

Despite the pain caused by contractions, it was peaceful and a happy moment. I had never been to any birth but I think the fact that it was in the water made it easier and quiet.
